Ask yourself this: “If you were hiring for the business you are looking to get into, would you have hired yourself?” If the answer is no, you are going wrong somewhere. Set goals; both short and long term ones. Periodic reviews are what set the professionals apart from the amateurs. You can track your career planning process progress by how much you deviate from the goal you set for yourself.
